At this time, for a half of the century it has been running for serving the community to give a better practical administration or Government management and development in Indonesia. As the same as the development in science, the scope of activity by The Department of Public Administration is not limited on studying the institution and the Government activity rather than as the institution and issue that correlated on public’s problem. So, it averages 3000 of graduation of Public Administration ate the moment have been settled on the strategic position of the Government Institution in the centre or locally rather than the private sector, research institution and NGOs.
The Department of Public Administration is still on moving forward to develop itself and keep on giving a better service to fulfill the Vision of Public Administration as the education institution and research in Public Administration to success the creation of Research University and Good University Governance in 2020. By its institution as the education and training centre, it is also as the centre of the research of Public Administration, Public Management and Development Administration. The link among the groups that are supporting each other inside or out side of the country keeps on the good progress. At this time, The Department of Public Administration has 23 academic staff with different background of education; there are 4 Professors, 7 Doctors and 11Masters with 5 Doctor Candidates.
